Parish Council Adopts 2020 Economic Development Strategy
At the last Jefferson Parish Council Meeting, the council voted to adopt The Jefferson EDGE 2020: Economic Development Strategy as the parish's official economic development plan. A year in the making, the strategic plan moves the parish beyond the years of recovery that immediately followed the 2005 hurricanes.

JEDCO Accredited by the International Economic Development Council
The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) announced today that the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) has been recognized as one of 22 economic development organizations accredited by IEDC as an Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO).
