Parish President Aaron Broussard released today the updated Jefferson Parish Post- Katrina Flood Protection Plan.
The original brochure was developed in November 2005 and today this brochure reflects the progress almost three years later.
The updated version “Three Years Later” includes the status of various items in Jefferson Parish’s anti-flood plan with a detailed list of short term projects and long term projects in need of immediate funding and/or in need of authorization and/or funding. The updated brochure also contains a new section on the progress against coastal erosion.
